As the US muscle car wars hot up again Ford has revealed 5 teaser pics of its new Mustang convertible prior to the new 2010 model’s appearance at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November.
The images have appeared on the official Mustang countdown microsite, along with some pretty cool tyre-smoking videos designed to whet punters appetite for this latest iteration of the pony car legend.
The site is here and is definitely worth keeping an eye on for future updates prior to the Mustang’s launch.
Unconfirmed sources stateside suggest Ford’s decision to tease us with an image of their new convertible implies that both coupe and open-air models will be available at launch early next year. This would mean the Mustang convertible will hit the streets in advance of the muscle-car’s convertible retro rivals like the Dodge Challenger and Chevy Camaro.
