The first official pics of the Fiat 500 Abarth Esseesse have surfaced on the net – and if it’s as tough as it looks the SS should be an absolute hoot. The car gets an even beefier body kit than the standard Abarth, which consists of a new deep front bumper, side skirts, and chunky rear. The 17”, or possibly even 18”, wheels come in white and there are two chrome exhaust tips sticking out the back.
Inside there is a set of deep bucket seats to hold the driver in and expect Abarth badges everywhere. Power is likely to be around 155bhp from a turbocharged 1.4-litre four pot, and it will be fed through the front wheels via a Q2 Torsen C limited slip differential.
There will be more details when the car appears at the Paris Motor Show in October.
