A slew of souped-up American muscle cars are set to take the annual ‘specialty equipment’ trade show SEMA by storm when it opens next week in Las Vegas.
Leading the charge will be tricked-up versions of the latest Dodge Challenger, including at least three convertibles – the coolest of which could be a custom speedster by Group Five illustrated here.
Other likely highlights of this Challenger-fest include a wide-body version from CDC with ‘shaker-hood’, composite front fenders and flared rear arches emblazoned with full-on billboard-style Hemi graphics.
However, the Challenger that seems certain to grab the most column inches – and furious speculation about a possible limited production future – is the mind-blowing Challenger SRT10 Concept from Dodge itself with a 600bh Viper V10 stuffed under the hood.
If there is a muscle car heaven, an SRT10 is what we’ll be driving – meanwhile stay tuned for lots more goodies from the show next week!
