The VW Scirocco may still be box fresh but this hasn’t stopped the German tuning boys from already getting their hands on one. Usually when the first tuned editions rear their heads the package consists of nothing more than an ECU and an exhaust.
The MTM Scirocco is no exception, although a reprogramme has now found a whopping 380bhp, which just goes to show how under-stressed the 200bhp 2.0-litre turbo really is. Added to this are Bimoto forged alloy wheels, in either 19 or 20”, with Michelin Pilot Sport 265/30 ZR tyres for the 20s, and some dodgy graphics.
A sports suspension and a stainless steel exhaust system is also available that should make the Scirocco handle and sound even better. 380mm brake discs from the MTM brake system are also on offer.
