Subaru has previewed its next Legacy with a teaser shot ahead of the Detroit Motor Show. The Legacy concept car will be unveiled at the show next month and reveals more aggressive styling than the conservative current model.
The front bumper wraps around to extended wheel arches and there is a chunky front grille. The lights are a completely new design but will likely be toned down for the production model.
The concept is powered by the firm’s 3.6-litre boxer unit although the new diesel engine is expected to be a big seller in the production model. Like other carmakers Subaru is struggling to keep afloat, having canned its rally team yesterday.
