The paint on the new Mercedes E-Class may only just be dry but this hasn’t stopped AMG developing a performance package for the car. It may not make the E accelerate any faster (yet) but it should go around corners quicker and stop a little better.
The suspension has been dropped by 15mm and the car has been fitted with perforated brake discs and fancy silver-painted callipers.
Visually the 2010 E-Class gets a front spoiler and side skirts to compliment the 18” AMG alloys. Inside there is ‘microfibre and faux-leather' seats and a three-spoke leather steering wheel.
That’s about it for the moment, but expect some monster bhp AMG models to start arriving soon. The kit starts around 3,000 Euros and the E-Class will be hitting European showrooms from March.
