Images have been leaked on to the internet of the 2011 BMW 5-Series GT. The car is due to be launched at the Geneva show in March and was apparently unveiled at a recent private showing.
It has been billed as a ‘concept’ but as with many such vehicles from BMW the production model will be practically the same. The ‘GT’ is one variant of a growing 5-Series line-up and features a hatch that can open in two different ways.
If the hatchback is not your thing then at least you get an idea of what the next-gen 5 will look like. BMW has compared the car to flying first class and it features four independent seats, with tables in the back.
Although BMW has become famous recently for creating new niches sadly this one has been done before. It was called the Vauxhall Signum.
