Official trailer is a real tease
Pagani has released an official trailer for its forthcoming Zonda R race and track car, giving you the chance to steal a naughty look at its hardcore engineering and meaty V12 engine.
The Zonda R shares only 10 per cent of its components with the Zonda F, which means the new R has been completely worked over to produce a longer, lower and wider supercar.
Aside from the Mercedes sourced 6.0-litre V12 producing 739bhp at 7500rpm, the Zonda R gets a carbon fibre and titanium woven body, said to be four times more expensive than regular carbon.
That helps give the Zonda R a power-to-weight ratio of over 700bhp per tonne and goes some way to explaining the £1.2m price tag. But is it worth it? Have a look at the video and make your own mind up.
