Morgan will unveil a new successor to the Aeromax at the Villa d’Este Concorso d’Eleganza in Italy on April 24
The new model will share the Aeromax’s aluminium chassis and 4.8-litre, 367bhp BMW V8 engine, but will apparently feature revised aluminium bodywork.
When Morgan introduced the Aeromax at Geneva in 2007, it was announced that only 100 cars would be built. That production run has just ended, but Morgan says demand for the car has been extremely strong and expects its 2009 Aeromax successor to be built in greater numbers. 200-250 units is the current aspiration, so buyers needn’t fear their exclusivity will be too greatly diminished!
