Porsche’s Carrera GT may be one of the most well-rounded supercars ever made, so any attempt to modify the exclusive 205mph machine warrants investigation by the taste police.
In which case Austrian tuner Koenigseder may end up in the dock for its body kit designed to ‘enhance’ the visual appeal of the 5.7-litre V10 powered supercar. The package comprises new front and rear bumpers, larger side skirts and more pronounced rear diffuser, while the GT’s adjustable rear spoiler has been replaced by a significantly larger fixed rear wing and now gets cut-out ‘GT’ logos in the uprights.
Koenigseder has re-styled the roof too, with a new removable panel complete with ram air scoop that gives the restyled Carrera GT a similar look to the Gembella Mirage GT that was first seen a few years ago.
Completing the assualt on your senses is a new set of alloy wheels and a new exhaust system that produces no extra power but makes more noise. Hmm...
There’s no word on price, but with used Carrera GTs commanding i£280k, the cost of the body kit isn’t likely to trouble interested parties.
