Olympic gold medallist and fastest man on earth Usain Bolt walked, albeit with a slight limp, away from a nasty looking accident in his BMW M3, showing that fast feet doesn't mean fast footwork behind the wheel.
According to reports the 100m and 200m world record holder flipped his car 'multiple times', landing in a ditch some distance from the road on which he and two female passengers were travelling.
Thankfully Bolt and his passengers escaped without any major injuries, and according to a doctor for the Jamaican Amateur Athletic Association; 'The main injuries were to his left foot when he stepped on some thorns when getting out of the car.'
Unfortunately, his black M3 wasn't so lucky and now has an even more pronounced 'power dome' as well as some terminal-looking chassis and axle damage.
Bolt was due to run on a specially constructed track in the centre of Manchester before the Great Manchester Run on 17 May. That appearance is now in doubt after Bolt withdrew from tomorrow's high-profile Jamaican International Invitational in Kingston.
