Bentley's vintage Le Mans winner 'Old Number One' was the star of the show at the PH Mulsanne meet organised by PistonHeads man-of-the-moment Lowdrag.
PHers frequenting the Le Mans forums will know that Lowdrag worked his magic to get the town centre closed at Mulsanne on Le Mans 'mad Friday' for a spectacular PH meet that will hopefully become a new feature of the Le Mans calendar.
Bentley director Richard Charlesworth surprised the assembled PHers at the meet by turning up in 'Old Number One', a Bentley Speed Six that won Le Mans twice - in 1929 with Woolf Barnato and Sir Henry 'Tim' Birkin, and the following year with Barnato and Glen Kidston.
The virtually priceless machine is probably one of the most valuable cars in the world, and was driven all the way to Le Mans from Crewe in true PistonHeads spirit!
