G-Power has released performance upgrades for the latest BMW Z4 including a chip that’s said to shave half a second off the twin-turbo 3.0 litre six’s 0-62mph time.
The so-called Bi-Tronik performance module bumps power on the sDrive 35i to 345hp from the standard car’s 306hp. Torque is up too from 295lbs ft to 354lbs ft, with the result being a reduced 0-62mph sprint time of 4.7secs.
G-Power is also offering a stiffer and lower coil-over conversion kit that uses adjustable shock absorbers with nine selectable settings, and a quad-tailpipe exhaust system with a noisier rear expansion box.
The whole package rides on a set of 20ins G-Power Silverstone alloy wheels that are lighter than the standard wheels thus reducing unsprung weight, and wrapped in 255/30 ZR 20 front and 295/25 ZR 20 rear Michelins.
The cost for all this extra goodness is measured in Euros: The wheels and tyres come in at €4,474, the suspension kit is €1,256 and the engine upgrade is €1,978.
