A few months ago we ran a story on the Petrolhead Nirvana/ PistonHeads Alpine Assault tour. We received a fantastic response and as a result the PHN team has added some extra accommodation (1 x double and 2 x twin) that is now available for booking.
The list of cars taking part is quite impressive, and includes:
Atom 3, 997 GT3, TVR Cerbera x 3, Ferrari 575M, Caterham SV, Honda S2000, TVR Tuscan x 2, AC Cobra, Ferrari 360, Ferrari 360 Spider, Mercedes SLK AMG, Porsche GT3, TVR Sagaris, KTM X-Bow, Alpina Roadster and a Lamborghini Diablo VT
The tour details are as follows:
The Alpine Assault tour takes place on the 18th- 26th July and provides nine days of the very best roads the Alpine region has to offer thanks to the extensive local knowledge held by the Petrolhead Nirvana team.
During the nine days you will drive some challenging and exciting roads with breathtaking scenery and light traffic. And as if that wasn't enough, you will also take a blast along the Ducati and Pagani test routes, do a lap of the Monaco GP circuit, have a run up (and down)the Stelvio as well as taking a tour of the Lamborghini factory and Mille Miglia museum.
To help you relax and concentrate on your driving, you will be provided with car-to-car walkie-talkies and full sat-nav route files as well as comprehensive driver packs with route notes and important local information. The team also provides a mechanic and support vehicle to ensure that nothing can stop your fun.
When you have finished driving, you can relax in four-star and five-star accommodation with both breakfast and dinner included every night throughout the entire tour. The cars will be securely parked at every venue, and with a lead and chase car you can enjoy the driving at a pace that suits you without any risk of losing the rest of the group.
