R8 will be at the FoS again, this time with a V10
With just under two weeks to go until the start of the 2009 Goodwood Festival of Speed, the event is cementing its reputation as the closest thing the UK currently has to a British motor show.
Making their public UK debuts will be 25 new production models, of which 13 will be running as part of the Supercar Run.
Heading up the hill on their UK debut this year will be the soft-top Bugatti Veyron Gran Sport, the awesome Mercedes SLR McLaren SLR Stirling Moss, the Pagani Zonda R and the eccentric Spanish Tramontana. The Porsche Panamera S, Audi R8 V10, Morgan Aero SuperSports, Aston Martin V12 Vantage, Lotus Evora, Lexus LF-A and Nissan 370Z and GT-R Spec V (the latter driven by PH's own Chris-R on Friday) will also get their live-action debuts.
Citroen GT concept becomes a moving reality
The Citroen GT concept and the stunning Bertone Mantide will also make their way up the hill.
More everyday vehicles on static display include the new Mazda 3, Mercedes E63 AMG, Ford Focus RS, Alpina B7, Vauxhall Insignia VXR, Audi TT RS and S5 Cabriolet.
