If you’ve got a classic Ferrari that you never take out in case it breaks down, this new ‘get you home’ package could be just the ticket.

The new ‘With You’ service just announced by Ferrari, will give the current owners of all its cars built since 1947 a free 12-month package of roadside assistance, plus re-imbursement of expenses like unexpected hotel bills, the cost of returning home without your car, or for reaching the Ferrari Authorised Service Centre to which your (presently) untrustworthy steed has been taken.
It seems from the press release that you won’t be able to ask the ‘With You’ recovery service to drop your car round to your favourite ‘non-authorised’ Ferrari specialist, so presumably the scheme has been designed partly to encourage owners of older cars back into the official Ferrari fold.
The ‘With You’ package doesn’t extend to newer models already covered under Ferrari GB's four-year warranty on new cars, or those covered by extended warranty under the POWER program.
The new service is free of charge and is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, says Ferrari. To activate cover in the UK, owners need only contact the Ferrari Client Service number – 0808 234 3324
