Volvo's latest 'design language'...
Volvo has released pictures of its new C70, which now sports the company's latest 'design language'.
The car's front end takes design inspiration from the S60 concept which was unveiled in early 2009. It incorporates a more distinct wedge shape, with new headlights and larger air intakes, while the bonnet and grill have been given softer lines incorporating the company's new 'V' insignia. The rear has been given more definition too, with lighting now coming courtesy of those increasingly ubiquitous LEDs.
...but we're not sure what it says!
According to Volvo the interior mirrors the exterior's new sleeker approach, and uses better quality materials to give a more luxurious feel.
The T5, with its five-cylinder 2.3-litre engine producing 220bhp and 236lb ft of torque, remains the sportiest model of the bunch. The unit drags the C70 from 0-60 in 7.6secs and on to 150mph, so don't be afraid to take it on at the traffic lights when it arrives in the UK early next year.
