Today Rolls Royce will finally unveil their much-vaunted new Ghost, the 'baby' saloon based on the new BMW 7-series, live at the Frankfurt motor show.
As we learned last week, the thoroughly unsubtle Ghost is to pack a 563bhp 6.6-litre V12. And, somewhat unusually for a Rolls Royce, it'll also feature more gadgets than you can wave a battery-powered stick at, including a head-up display, a lane departure warning system, active cruise control and a pedestrian-detecting night vision camera hidden in the grille (because a ghost would be useless if it couldn't see in the dark).
The Ghost marks a new chapter in the design ethos from the chaps at Goodwood, and an all-new Roller is a rare thing, so all eyes will be on the unveiling this afternoon. And, if you are having a slow day at work and fancy pretending you are at Frankfurt we can bring you - thanks to the wonders of technology - the launch live too.
