Caterham and specialist yacht builder Sunseeker have teamed up to produce what must be the ultimate in surf 'n' turf experiences - a powerboat that comes complete with its own Caterham Seven.
Instead of housing a small sports boat, the Sunseeker Predator 108 Special Edition has been converted so that it can store and 'launch' the iconic sports car. Perfect for a blast into the Alpes Maritimes from your St Tropez mooring, we suppose...
The 34-knot Predator 108, which can accommodate up to four crew and eight guests, isn't quite the paragon of value for money that the Caterham represents, however. The Poole-based boat builder will take a little more than £7 million from your bank account in exchange for a Predator, while the cheapest roadgoing Caterham Seven is a fiver less than £13k.
But the two Brit specialists aren't as different as you might expect, says Caterham MD Ansar Ali: "Our two companies have more in common than one might think at first, despite the disparity in vehicle size. The more minimal, performance-focused approach Sunseeker has adopted for the Predator series may well have been congratulated by Colin Chapman himself."
The Boat 'n' car combination of Caterham and Sunseeker is currently on display at the London International Boat Show at the Excel centre in Docklands until 17 January.
