Car sketch escapes from graphic novel...
Luxury Malaysian sports car maker Bufori (yes, it feels weird typing it, too) is set to unveil an all-new luxury saloon at the Geneva motor show.
Last year we brought you news of the Bufori CS, a front-engined, rear-drive, composite-bodied sports car. Now Bufori says it is about to take the wraps off its new saloon, codenamed MkVI and seen here in (very) rough sketch form.
There's not much in the way of technical detail on the new car, other than the fact that it will be rear-wheel drive, powered by a 6.1-litre engine and fitted with rear-hinged coach doors.
Bufori's press release suggests that the new car will combine "cutting-edge technology with a beautifully proportioned body that exudes presence and style", and that the interior of what it calls an 'ultra-luxury saloon' will "ensure ultimate comfort and well-being". We'll leave it up to you as to how much of that is hyperbole...
We'll also leave you with the thoughts of Gerry Khouri, Bufori's MD and co-founder. "This new model marks an important milestone in the company's history," says Gerry. "The MkVI is our first four-door saloon and we are excited at presenting this more contemporary interpretation of the Bufori philosophy to the world." Quite.
