If ever a POTW was chosen by popular demand, this would be it. When we wrote about this
stunning Maserati Tipo 61 'Birdcage'
earlier this week it certainly won approval from the PH public - its 9.37 out of 10 P.H. O'Meter voter rating* is the highest we've ever seen.
In case you've forgotten, this Birdcage is up for auction next month at RM's auction in Monte Carlo.
Unfortunately, since the lovely Tipo 61 chassis 2470 has a rather stratospheric estimate of £2.1million attached to it - and there were only 17 made in the first place - not many members of the PH populous will ever get their mitts on one.
Which is where POTW comes in. Thanks to the magic of the wallpaper, we can now bring you the chance to crack a Birdcage-induced smile every time you stare at your desktop. Aren't we nice?
