Suzuki has revealed a hot one-off 286bhp turbocharged version of its Kizashi saloon.
'Suzuki Ki-what?' We hear you cry. And we'll forgive you for having let the Kizashi pass you by, since it's a small saloon for the US, Japanese and some European markets and, well, it's not that interesting.
But now Suzuki tuner Road Race Motorsports (RRM) has injected a bit of excitement into the Kizashi with this 286bhp concept.
RRM started off with a pre-production Kizashi GTS, adding a 16G turbocharger, high-performance intercooler and new injectors to the 2.4-litre 185bhp four-pot motor, and by fiddling with the engine management systems.
The RRM Kizashi also gets a small spoiler, 19-inch alloys and a more sporty suspension set-up.
There are no plans to create a production version of the hot Kizashi, and the car is unlikely to make it to the UK anyway, but still it's always nice to see somebody make a dull car slightly more interesting, isn't it?
