Ferrari 599 GTO will be at the FoS
McLaren will be celebrating the 20th anniversary of the F1 supercar at Goodwood during the Festival of Speed, promising a full display of cars alongside the brand new MP4-12C, which has also been confirmed.
The McLaren static display will be in situ for Moving Motor Show day, and other highlights for this new start to the FoS weekend are said to include the Focus RS500 special edition, the UK debut of the new MG6 from MG Cars, and a revised version of the Vauxhall VXR8 which goes on sale towards the end of this year.
Nissan will also be showing off its 40th anniversary 370Z, and a Cars, Stars and Guitars display that will include ZZ Top's CadZZilla.
McLaren MP4-12C will join F1s
The supercar paddock will also be open on MMS day, so you can ogle the exotic machinery that will be running up the hill on the FoS days 'proper'.
According to the organisers, the confirmed list of mouth-watering metal taking part now includes the following additions:
Alpina B3S
Alpina B5 (world debut)
Ferrari 599 GTO
Hennessey Venom GT
Koenigsegg Trevita
Lexus LF-A
Maserati GranSport Cabriolet
Mazda MX-5 Superlight concept
CadZZilla, famous ride of Billy Gibbons
