When we mentioned to Garlick that it was

Range Rover's 40th birthday this month

, he got all excited and suggested that we use a pic of his

old, dear-departed Rangie

as POTW.

Fortunately we managed to placate him with lots of retro pics of Range Rovers instead.

In fact, we managed to get hold of so many courtesy of the kind folks at the British Motor Industry Heritage Trust that we couldn't pick our favourite, and Garlick had to go for a lie-down in a dark room.

So here are five of our favourites. Tell us via the magic of the forum thread of the forum thread which is your favourite and we'll desktop-ise it
