Mike and PHer Chester Barnes in action last year
Roll-up, roll-up, for another amazing PistonHeads Festival of Speed freebie, once again courtesy of Jaguar and the company's inimitable ride and handling 'guru', Mr Mike Cross.
Yes, following the success of our competition last year, when PHer Chester Barnes got a high speed passenger ride in the lime-green Jaguar XKR 'Goodwood Special', Mike has very kindly extended a similar invitation to another lucky PHer at the Festival of Speed this year.
We're not allowed to tell you what the car will be yet, because there hasn't been an official announcement. But we are allowed to say our winner's ride is going to be just as 'special' as it was last year so, apart from the thrill of the experience itself, you can also be confident the prize will deliver sufficient pub bragging rights to make your mates (lime?) green with envy.
The passenger ride prize will take place at approximately 09:30 on the morning of Saturday July 3rd, so our winner will need to be on-site at Goodwood to sign-on at around 08:30am. The prize includes general admission tickets to the Festival of Speed for the winner and a companion (for Saturday only), also courtesy of our friends at Jaguar.
So how do you win this fabulous prize we hear you say? Well it's a piece of cake. Simply send an email to competitions@pistonheads.com with the word Jaguar as the subject line.
The email should contain the following info:
- Your name
- Your age (on July 3rd 2010)
- Your daytime telephone number
- Your current vehicle
Entries will close at midday on Friday June 25th, and our lucky winner will be pulled at random from the PH virtual hat that very afternoon.
T&Cs. Entrants must be at least 25 years old on July 3rd 2010, and hold a full, valid driving licence. Please note there is no substitute or alternative to the prize being offered if you can't make the designated time and place, or if circumstances outside our control mean the prize has to be withdrawn.
