Now this sketch has appeared on the homepage of Porsche Consulting, a subsidiary of Porsche Automobile SE that works on (among other things) manufacturing projects in the Automotive, construction and furniture industries.

The drawing seems to show a front-engined coupe with 911 and Panamera-esque styling cues.

Of course, this may be nothing more than a pretty drawing, but it is interesting to see a sketch that apparently relates to nothing Porsche currently produces displayed so prominently on its own website. And even more so when there are whispers that Porsche engineers are desperate for a V8 GT to directly rival Aston Martin, Mercedes and Ferrari.

It's also worth mentioning that, even if a 928 successor is in the works, this would be one of undoubtedly hundreds of possible sketches... so don't get too excited...
