The stunning 1973 Miura Jota
Over 100 Lamborghini cars past and present gathered in Switzerland last weekend for what was called 'a dynamic celebration of the marque'.
According to the organisers, owners from across the world joined 'Lamborghini St. Moritz 2010', supported by dealerships and clubs, with a driving programme that included a route through the scenic Julierpass and Fluelapass to Davos - escorted by the 'famous' Lamborghini Gallardo police car, provided by the Italian Polizia di Stato.
The recently launched Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Superleggera led the road tour convoy out of St. Moritz. This 'super light' V10 Gallardo was first shown at the Geneva motor show earlier this year, and it's 70 kg lighter than the Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4, with a 0-62mph acceleration time of 3.4secs and a top speed of 202mph.
A number of historic Lambos were also in attendance, including a gorgeous 1973 Miura Jota in 'Rosso Granada', the organisers told us via email - and we couldn't resist sharing the attached picture.
