A bear crashed a car in Colorado last week. After finding its way into the 2008 Toyota Corolla, the bear then knocked the car's transmission into neutral, causing the car to roll 125 feet into a bush. With the bear still in it.
According to the Associated Press, it is apparently not unusual for bears to open unlocked doors to cars and even houses in the hunt for food - and it seems likely that an unattended peanut butter sandwich was what tempted the bear into the Corolla.
Police freed the bear by opening the door with a length of rope. The bear then ran into the woods, but not before wreaking havoc on the car's interior, and expressing its opinion of Toyota's finest by leaving a 'present' on the driver's seat. Which we suppose answers an age-old philosophical puzzler with the word 'no'.
There's no word whether or not the bear was wearing a hat and tie, or if he was after a picnic basket...
