Win a fast ride in one of these...
Fancy yourself leading the pack of top professional GT racers as they speed around Silverstone in the Le Mans Series, but can't be bothered with alll that tiresome racing business (not to mention finding millions of pounds in sponsorship)?
Have we got the competition for you!
PH has teamed up with the organisers of the Le Mans Series to offer one lucky PHer the chance to win a passenger lap in the official Audi R8 V10 safety car at the Autosport 1000km of Silverstone on Sunday, 12 Sept.
Yes, really! Our lucky winner will be chauffeured at high speed around the new Silverstone Grand Prix track in the 5.2-litre, 518bhp R8 safety car, piloted by one of Silverstone’s top drivers, and will also get to watch all the race action in grandstand comfort with a partner/friend/selected associate/bloke from down the pub.
There’s also a runner-up prize of a pair of grandstand tickets, but no ride.
...then go and watch some of these
The race is the finale of the Le Mans Series championship, which consists of five 1000km races at some of the best tracks around Europe and, on 10-12 September, it’s Silverstone’s turn.
Star names such as Nigel Mansell, Allan McNish, Giancarlo Fisichella and Jean Alesi will all do battle in the race, behind the wheel of the same LMP1 and LMP2 prototypes that you see in the Le Mans 24 Hours.
