JLR has issued a nice new official picture of the Evoque 5 door, so we don't all keep looking at
that dodgy 'spy' image
reportedly circulated by a representative of one of the firm's Eastern European dealers. (Following a supposedly 'private' viewing last week.)
Along with today's new pic, Range Rover MD Phil Popham has confirmed at the Paris Motor Show that the five door will be officially revealed later in the year, as we have already reported.
That's because on its Paris stand, JLR is limiting itself to showing three examples of the new Evoque 3 door, all in identical spec and thus not showing off
the three trim levels that will be available at launch
However, it's the first time hacks have been able to clamber over the new car to confirm mainly that a) it looks quite desirable if you like that sort of thing (which we think we sort of do) and b) the rear view is a bit limited through that letter box sized hatch.
There's also a restored two-door Range Rover Classic on the JLR stand which is definitely the sort of thing we like, but as it's on the wrong wheels Garlick has refused to take a photo...
