Hob-nob with Andy (or a Rich Tea? )...
On Sunday 28th November, the BLOODHOUND Technical Centre (AKA the Dog House) will open its doors exclusively to 40 PistonHeads readers, giving you an amazing chance to hob-nob with the world's fastest man, meet the team behind the car - and most importantly do your bit to support the team's quest for a new 1000mph+ record in 2012.
'Doing your bit' means coughing up a paltry £30 for the privilege of getting your name on our exclusive list of event attendees. Your contribution will go straight into the BLOODHOUND record attempt biscuit tin/kitty, thus allowing you to walk taller in the knowledge you've done a very good thing - and hopefully feel extra smug when the guys bring back the record for Britain.
In case you were wondering, they need £12m to get the car to the desert in the Summer of 2012, and so far there's only about £4m in the bank. (Otherwise they'd be delighted to show you around for free, obviously!)
...and get close up to this!
Still, £30 for a 'money can't buy' opportunity like this sounds like great value to us - so hopefully we'll see you there.
To make it even more painless, they've even set up a Paypal 'buy it now' link for tickets!
Doors open at 09.45 for coffee and biscuits. The event kicks off at 10:00 and wraps at 13:00. The day will consist of talks by members of the BLOODHOUND team and opportunity to see the 44ft model of the car.
