The first PistonHeads/BookaTrack track day is almost upon us, and its not too late to join the party.
On Tuesday 22nd March we'll be heading to Donington Park for an unsilenced session at this legendary circuit. For PHers whose cars don't get on well with dB meters this is a great opportunity to come out and play, but it's not just for noisy car owners of course - all are welcome.
In addition to PHers attending, we'll also have Tony Hughes along for the day. Tony is debuting in BTCC this year, and is going to be out on track for some extra practice. He might be in his road car but hopefully he will be driving his NGTC (New Generation Touring Car - catchy eh?) Toyota Avensis for the first time, along with Speedworks Motorsport. Don't worry, he's promised to pull over to allow us to pass when we need him to, but the presence of a real life race team should make the day even more interesting.
Attendance at this event is limited to 50 cars in an effort to ensure we don't experience any queues in the pit lane, and there's guaranteed garage availability for anyone who wants one. If that wasn't enough, we'll even provide free teas, coffees and refreshments throughout the day. Spaces on the session are priced at £295 per car
Caterham track cars
are also available to hire if you don't fancy using your own car. Fully prepared, these cars really enhance the sessions and the BaT team are on hand to provide full support throughout the day.
For more information on this (or any other) PH track event, or to book up for this session please visit the BookaTrack website to register and to check out the entire 2011 PH track calendar. If you prefer, you can call them directly on 0843 208 4635.
We look forward to seeing some of you there.
