There isn't a lot we can say about the Caparo that hasn't already been said. The simplest way to sum on up is that they provide something like 80% of the power/weight ratio that today's Grand Prix cars deliver, and for a mere fraction of the cost.
This particular car has never seen the road (not officially anyway...) but has still covered around 1250 miles on various test tracks and circuits. It's been thoroughly prepared for sale by the very people who build them – so it should reward its new owner (and a lucky passenger) with many laps of extreme sense-bombarding mayhem, the likes of which only a tiny percentage of the world’s population will ever experience *sob*.
Now, about the price; £270,000 is a lot of money, but then again seeing as this is chassis number 1 that could turn out to be good value in the long run. So here's the plan: Let's get 500 PHers to chip-in £500 each, beat the price down to £250,000 and it's ours! Track days would never be the same...
