The Bugatti Veyron Super Sport (of 'fastest road-legal car in the world' fame) will get its UK competition debut under MSA regulations at the Prescott Hill Climb this weekend.
On Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th May the Gloucestershire track is playing host to 'La Vie En Bleu', its annual celebration of all things French and motorsporty (is that a word? - Ed).
And what with Prescott being run by the Bugatti Owners' Club (though you don't actually have to own a Bugatti to be a member), the Molsheim marque often plays a big part in the festivities.
This year, provided it actually passes scrutineering, the star turn will be the world's fastest production car.
So if you want to see whether it can decimate all opposition on the 1127 yards of short straights, fast and slow corners, and a properly tricky hairpin, pop along to Prescott this weekend. Tickets are £18 per day, children under 14 are free, and camping is available at £5 per person per night payable on the day.
You can find out more about 'La Vie En Bleu' at the Prescott Hill Climb website, while you can peruse some images of last year's event in the video below
