Caterham has released a series of dates for potential customers to test its new SP/300.R sports prototype.
Eager amateur racers and track day enthusiasts (in other words potential owners) can get their hands on the new £60k, 300bhp, 180mph Radical-alike racer on the following dates:
- Saturday, 27 August 27 at Donington Park
- Wednesday, 7 September at Donington Park
- Thursday, 15 September at Snetterton
- Wednesday, 21 September at Donington Park
But be quick though, because Caterham says it is giving priority to customers with orders already placed, after which people who have merely 'registered interest' will be offered a quick test drive.

due to be be built this year have already been sold.
Caterham Motorsport Manager, Simon Lambert, said: "There has been a huge amount of interest in this car since we unveiled it at the start of the year. It will be fantastic to get it on track this summer and we can't wait to see the look on people's faces when they try it for the first time. We are confident it will be everything they expect and more."
In addition to these test dates, Caterham has also revealed that The SP/300.R will be built in a newly-equipped facility next to Caterham's existing factory in Kennet Road, Dartford.
