Porsche has announced a recall for its more potent 911 models as the cars' centre-locking wheel hubs can apparently fall victim to premature wear.
As a result Porsche is recalling 911 Turbos, GT2s and GT3s with single-nut wheels in order to replace all four hub assemblies with an improved (and hopefully non-wearing) version.
The recall affects 1702 cars built between 18th May 2009 and 17th September 2010, and owners of affected cars will soon be notified.
Thinking about it, we've got a Porsche Centre lock in the PH office acting as a paperweight; hope fully that won't need to go back to the dealer...
