Like this, but better. And with some cars
PistonHeads will host a private campsite alongside the 2011 Britcar 24 with our partners at 1
-Tickets, and we would like you to join us.
If you are missing Le Mans and PistonFest, then this is the event for you. Perhaps you want to do a Le Mans warm-up? Or you can never seem to convince your mates/missus that camping at Le Mans is a good idea? This is a great way to test their camping mettle, not far from home and at a wallet-friendly price.
With the Britcar 24 taking place at the back end of September we are guaranteed to be basking in the summer weather we never had (perhaps) and, although there is racing going on a few yards from the campsite, you are more than welcome to simply chat around the BBQ all weekend and enjoy the atmosphere.
But whereas Le Mans can be rather costly to attend, Le Silverstone is less so. Camping for the weekend at Britcar starts at just £60 for a pitch. So bring three mates, add in entry tickets and a programme and the price per person is still just £31.25. As David Dickinson might say, that is a ‘bloomin’ bargain’ (Would he? - Ed.).
