This Sunday, PistonHeads returns to the shiny Weybridge-based playground that is known as Mercedes-Benz World for the 2011 round of the MBW Sunday Service.
A call was put into Michael Fish and he has arranged (kindly) for all the rain to fall while we are at work, leaving us with the prospect of better weather on Sunday as we welcome 700 of you through the gates at 09.00.
Speaking of the gate, some of the PH team (Garlick, Riggers - calm down, ladies - Chris-R and new boy Switch), along with volunteer PHer The Hypno-Toad and a few assistants from MBW will be on hand to check your name off the list. As usual, we will have a no-name, no-entry policy as we have 700 spaces and we need to control the numbers. But we don't like to be mean, and fortunately there is some (separate) overflow parking at MBW as those who have previously visited will be aware.
If you can no longer attend the event, please remove yourself from the calendar to allow others to take your place, but as it stands some of the originally allocated 700 spaces are still available. To add (or remove) your name, visit the calendar here.
....while Riggers does it dry, on the street
Passenger rides will be available on the day in the 300SL Gullwing and a few of the current AMG models. Food is available too, both inside the Mercedes-Benz World building and also within the PH parking area.
The event opens at 09.00 and the PH element will end at 13.00. You will be able to leave your cars within the Sunday Service area for the afternoon if you wish, as MBW will remain open through to 17.00.
Don't forget that, thanks to Sunday Service sponsors Adrian Flux, you will also be handed your Sunday Service sticker and Order of Service as you arrive.
We look forward to seeing you there.
