PHers seem to like a Wiesmann, but those who've been liking the BMW six-cylinder powered MF3 version for the last 18 years will have to move on.
The 3.2 litre 343hp engine from the E46 M3 is no longer available off the shelf from BMW, so the MF3 must die with it. And to celebrate (the MF3's glorious past, not it's passing), Wiesmann has teamed up with German fashion brand Sieger to produce 18 run-out cars with designer colours and trim.
The result is definitely eye-catching and (dare we say this?) not quite as tasteless as a person might reasonably expect on hearing that a German low-volume car builder had employed a German clothing specialist to dress-up its plastic re-interpretation of the 'classic British sportscar'.
Or maybe 18 years of production has softened us up... Either way, there are going to be 18 different stripy colour and trim variations for the 18 MF3 Final Editions, and one of them is currently on show at Frankfurt.
