Without wishing to sound too much like Harry Hill, we like fast estates, and we like Jaguar XFs, but which is better? Soon there won't be any need to find out because, as this festive teaser pic shows, the long-awaited XF wagon is almost here.
But we'll have to wait a little while yet for the Jaguar XF Sportbrake (as the XF estate is to be called) - besides its festive 'celebrity driver' duties, the XF isn't due to be revealed until early 2012 before a motor show debut at Geneva next March.
What's obvious, though, is that underneath the swirly camouflage the XF wagon is going to be every bit as alluringly swoopy as its saloon cousin. Hopefully that will mean that it's a little more successful for Jaguar than its last attempt at an estate - the X-type.
Those hoping for a supercharged R version will most likely be disappointed, however - Jaguar will be slotting its four- and six-cylinder diesels beneath the bonnet, and its naturally aspirated V8, but there won't be an XFR version. More's the pity...
