One day I will own a GT-R. It won't be an R34, because I don't much like the way they look, nor did it capture my imagination like my first drive in an R33.
Of course I have no idea what this particular car is like to drive, but it looks the conkers, doubtless goes like Sonic Wind and will want to oversteer at every opportunity, like R33s always do.
Lots of mods but faithfully done
This was and is the fascination I have with the R33. Its HICAS gubbins seemed impossibly complicated at the time, but it almost always felt rear-wheel drive. Every other 4WD quickie was either neutral unless severely provoked or a nose-pusher but the GT-R was this breath of fresh air. Big, loud, full of character and mechanically confident: they just felt strong.
I reckon standard UK cars (and nicely tweaked ones) will soon be gaining value.
Would you have an R32 instead? Maybe. Black with some gold mag wheels. Yum.
