The first Sunday Service is almost upon us after taking a well-earned rest in January. But we’re ready to start the season again and have some exciting new venues lined up, as well as some old favourites.
We have taken the Sunday Service to Silverstone a few times over the years, but this will be the first time we are guests of the circuit itself and we’ll be parking in the shadow of the new wing on Sunday 12th February.
Talking of parking, this is another huge Sunday Service as we are able to welcome 700 cars on the day. Remember when these events used to attract 50-odd cars? A distant memory these days, and we thank you for coming along in such large numbers to help make them such a success.
If you aren’t familiar with our Sunday Service meets, they are very simple in format. PHers arrive from all corners of the country, pass gate security (us lot) and park up. After that it’s all about admiring other cars, buying some breakfast and enjoying the surroundings.
Gates will open at 09.00 as usual, and we’ll kick you out (politely) at 13.00. You will need to book a space however, and to do that all you need to do is book a space by adding your name to the calendar by clicking this link. No name means no entry. That’s not us being mean - we just have to make the best use of the space available and this is the fairest way.
In addition to being alongside the famous circuit, we will also have the opportunity for a limited number of you to tour the new Silverstone wing. Tours will take in all areas of the new building, including the podiums and race control. Tours are restricted to a maximum of 210 people and that means we’ll be taking seven groups of 30 people every 30 minutes, starting at 09.30 on a first-come, first-served basis.
To sign up for a parking space, just click this link and add your name.
Thanks to Silverstone for having us, and we look forward to seeing you there.
