A reminder for all of our Le Mans going PHers of our special continental edition of the Sunday Service which, due to European time-differences, now falls on a Friday*. Gates to the event, taking place at
Parking du Fresne
on June 21, open at 1200h and we’ll close no later than 1700h.
If you’ve been to a Sunday Service before you’ll know the format: arrive, park, enjoy the cars on display and wander over to buy something to eat and drink. The Friday Service is similar in format, but offers a more relaxed atmosphere as we laze in the sun with the expectation of a great weekend ahead.
Catering will be provided by the fantastic on-site catering team from the PistonHeads/ 1st-Tickets private campsite providing great burgers as well as a vegetarian option too. You’ll need a beer too, so wander over to our ‘bar in a field’ serving a range of alcoholic and soft drinks.
We have lots of space at our disposal so can cater for around 600 cars on the day, and unlimited pedestrians, all we ask is that you put your name on the calendar if you think you’d like to come along (to give us an idea on numbers for catering) but we won’t be turning away those that turn up unannounced on the day, providing space is available of course.
If you arrive at the bar wearing a PHLM13 shirt we’ll reward you with your first beer absolutely free. Simply walk to the bar, say nothing, and point to your shirt. Simple. Not bought yet? View the range here.
PHer Durbster took this excellent video of last year’s meet, if you want to see what it’s all about.
We look forward to seeing you in France in just a few weeks time. Map here.
* actually we lie, some racing is getting in the way on Sunday so we had to move to Friday
