blog from the Mille Miglia

Celebs in classic Jags, what could go ... oh
We'll be bringing you a more in-depth story of the experience for your reading pleasure over the bank holiday weekend. And the more sharp eyed among you may have noted GoPros mounted to the C-Type in some of the pictures. A hint there of what else is to come...
Ahead of all that Jaguar has released its own PR-friendly teaser video from the event, focusing on some of the celebs also invited to drive cars from its historic fleet, including Daniel Day-Lewis, Chris Hoy, Yasmin Le Bon and others probably more familiar to readers of Grazia than PH.
From the video it seems like the gist for most was to enjoy a pleasurable regularity drive through Italy, saying 'gosh, F-Type, brilliant, marvellous, chance of a lifetime, F-Type, heritage, F-Type' any time a camera went their way and waving to the crowds as they passed. Though the wing on the XK120 of Le Bon and David Gandy tells a story. The latter is a 'globally recognised supermodel' according to Jaguar's press release, just in case you were wondering.
Buncombe and Harris - regularity, what regularity?
Meanwhile and, as you might hope, Harris and GT racer Alex Buncombe seemingly got a little more stuck in in 'their' C-Type, Chris's Twitter feed mentioning chasing Ferrari 250 MMs in the middle of the night, high-speed Police escorts, racing against lunatics in Porsche Spyders and the occasional dressing down by the organisers. We'd expect nothing less of course!
Anyway, here's the official PR friendly teaser vid. The inside, PH version will follow in due course...
