So with Chris on his summer holidays, we've been left the task of filling his Wednesday evening video slot. The deliberations were agonising.
Which film to choose? There was the epic Singer mini-documentary from earlier this year, the Nissan Deltawing drive and some rather spectacular twin tests including the M135i vs RS3 from 2012.
However, a few very valid reasons ensured the six minutes of the Ferrari 458 Spider at Llandow was selected. Firstly, it's understandably proved very popular; at the time of writing, the original story thread has 185 comments and the video 892,952 views. Also, it gained unanimous approval from all of us typists back at PH which had effectively sealed the deal.
But just as importantly, the 458 Spider video spawned a rather excellent Chris Harris Photoshop thread. Set aside a few extra minutes post-video to delve into 48 pages of hilarity (if you haven't already) here.
On a more serious note, today also marks 25 years since Enzo Ferrari's death. This is as fitting a tribute as we have to the great man and his cars.
