V6 Shed
has certainly got the discussion flowing on tiny multi-cylindered engines. So how about a 45cc V8?
The tiny motor looks as crazy as you would think, strapped down to a work bench and being fuelled from a jar. The exhausts don't look much bigger than straws. But everything works (and sounds!) as it should, the little V8 buzzing away with a hint of muscle car rumble.
All the vital displays are shown on a laptop, but there isn't yet a power output. According to the video description, the engine was 'made in the shed' using a Bridgeport mill and a 95-year-old lathe. It also includes and alloy block, a Walbro fuel pump and a tungsten alloy flywheel.
Keith5700, we applaud your ingenuity and engineering skills. It almost feels like a gauntlet has been laid down by Keith here; can anyone beat the 45cc V8?
