Dunlop's final Pure Driving Experiences video is near but in a twist on the format we're going to let you join the vote on where Steve Sutcliffe enjoys his final drive. In the first he drove a Mercedes C63 AMG Black Series up Hardknott Pass in the Lake District, a mismatch of car and road more than a few picked up on.
"Silly car for what is little more than a path!" said PHer Behemoth, in one typical comment.
Since then Steve's Dunlop-sponsored travels have taken him to the North York Moors in a Radical, the Stelvio Pass in a Nissan GT-R and more besides.
For the final instalment Steve will be reunited with the C63 Black. But where to take it? The choices are as follows:
Longcross test track not far from PH Towers is a regular haunt of Sutcliffe and his Autocar colleagues so if there's anywhere he can really show off what the Black Series can do it'll be here. While probably annoying some of the golfers whose course the track borders.
Matt recently enjoyed the roads
near the Route
Napoleon
in a Dream Drives feature. He enjoyed it in a Peugeot RCZ R but perhaps Sutcliffe would enjoy it more still in the AMG? Could cost a bit in fuel getting it there, mind.
With a 'hands off' banked bowl and bucking bronco infield test track Millbrook proving ground is another venue Sutcliffe knows intimately. Chances to get the Black flat out and, just possibly, airborne abound.
