The Autosport show isn't just about new cars and overpriced bacon rolls. This year's NEC extravaganza has been used to present a very exciting media partnership between the British Touring Car Championship and PistonHeads.
Gow: "We're delighted". PH chuffed too
As part of a wider agreement with BTCC and Haymarket Consumer Media, we are pleased to announce the next three seasons of the championship will be covered in greater depth through PH. So there will be more news, features and blogs from us plus more competitions for you guys to win. The PH YouTube channel will also be populated with exclusive BTCC content. Keep an eye on Autocar and What Car? too for coverage.
Until 2016, the BTCC cars and podiums will feature the PH logos as well as those of the other Haymarket motoring publications. Of the agreement BTCC boss Alan Gow said: "We're delighted to be able to announce this partnership with Haymarket Consumer Media... this agreement not only enhances our relationship but also ensures that the BTCC will be covered in greater detail in the group's motoring titles."
Exciting times ahead then for British Touring Cars and PH. The 2014 championship kicks off at Brands Hatch on March 29/30; keep an eye out for more from the agreement as the season opener approaches.
