The wait is over! After concepts, motor show reveals and tech previews, we've finally driven the Lamborghini Huracan. The verdict? Well it would be rude to spill the beans here but suffice to say there were one or two surprises.
Predictably, a 610hp Lamborghini has dominated the news this week. But never fear, there's been plenty else to discuss since Monday that should see you through the three-day weekend. See below!
Lurid colours mandatory, of course
Let's deal with that Lamborghini first, shall we?

As one supercar was welcomed this week so another was waved off into the sunset. Loudly, with smoke billowing from the tyres. Yep, the Mercedes SLS AMG Final Edition is a suitably lairy send-off for AMG's first supercar. How well its turbocharged replacement compare?
Back on planet earth, a price cut announced for the Subaru BRZ sparked plenty of comment on Tuesday. But that's nothing on the furious debate that has ensued following our few weeks with a Lotus Evora Sports Racer; with the fifth and final update now live, over 700 comments have been posted. One to keep you busy...
And there was plenty more on British sports cars too; Wednesday saw the return of the Trident Iceni (once more) and the news that the F-Type is now Jaguar's second best-selling car. Lotus finally has a new CEO as well. Furthermore, despite poor 2013 financial results, Aston Martin is bullish about its future prospects with fresh investment.
Swat up ahead of its return with PH
For those wistfully eyeing up Evos in the classifieds following last week's
PH Hero
marketwatch
was published this week detailing every Evo from I to X and every esoteric special in between. Will the MR440 be a fitting finale to such a legendary lineage?
That's not all for Japanese performance heroes either, as we discovered an unmolested UK Toyota Supra on Tuesday. Then there's our RX-7-owning Carpooler who saw an RX-8 as the only suitable companion. Of course. And if the Japanese scene really isn't your bag, how about the uber luxobarge that is the Alpina B7? No? There's the glorious Petrolicious tribute to the Ferrari 250 GTO. We cater for all tastes!
Fuel consumption go hang!
Chris has been out to LA to drive the
BMW i8
, a car that's certain to generate discussion when it arrives in the UK. As you may expect, the video does include a mention of the McLaren P1. And Chris's 2CV.
As a man driving both the SLS Final Edition and Huracan this week, Dan has had plenty to talk about! See his personal farewell to the Merc here, and the latest update on 'his' C63 wagon. And just how does the Golf R compare with the latest Subaru WRX STI? Find out in his blog.
Also this week Matt's Caterham Academy season kicked off and Keith's under the hammer column featured a stunning De Tomaso Pantera rally car. A far more conventional rally car can be found in the shape of Jesse Crosse's Group 4 Escort, which we'll be hearing more about over the coming months. Stay tuned...
