This is an absolutely superb race. A bit mad, quite dangerous at some points but just completely enthralling.
Rare moment of one car on track by itself!
Watching the grid assemble gives a good indication of the compelling racing spectacle in wait. Along one side of the grid sat, in a single class, a Mercedes C-Class behind a Mini Cooper S then a GT86, Hyundai Veloster, S2000, Opel Manta, Dodge Viper and an M235i Racing. Seeing all those in one race would be cool, leave alone a single class! How they are all compliant with one set of rules is befuddling.

BMW. Road car. Do it now.
Adenau was decent place to watch at sunset and for admiring the stunning feats of engineering the locals spectate from. Unbelievable. Chris has promised an update from the exciting side of the fence in the morning, and I'll add something on the night viewing experience soon. Now I could do with a little rest!
And that beautiful collection of old touring cars? It looks like there was a classic 'tourenwagen' race at some point and the cars were there before being loaded up. Quite a sight stationary, imagine what the race must have been like...
